Victoria Falls vicinity

The first river lodge on the Zambian side of Victoria Falls was built with extraordinary care paid to the natural environment. Most of the private chalets feature an open-air portion, so guests have the illusion of sleeping in the great outdoors and wake up to an unobstructed view of the river. As a result of this open style of accommodation and the fact that guests can hear the mighty rush of nearby Victoria Falls, visitors to Tongabezi feel immersed in the environment rather than removed from it. Each chalet has a private butler, an open-air sunken bath, and a "loo with a view"! In addition to visiting Victoria Falls, guests can spend their time canoeing, enjoying an island lunch, boating at sunrise and sunset, guided walks, fishing, game viewing in the Mosi-oa-tunya Game Park, or visiting Mukuni Village, the Tujatane School, and Livingstone Museum.
