What a better adventure than to experience the best of what these two countries have to offer? Throughout this trip, you'll have the chance to see the incredible abundance of nature on the Galapagos, as well as the incredible amount of history and culture that makes up Peru. Your journey will begin with three nights in Quito, Ecuador's capital, where you'll have the opportunity to tour the city, as well as take a trip to the slopes of the Volcano Pichincha. You will also take a day to stroll through the Otavalo Indian Market. This open-air market dates back centuries to pre-Incan times and is famous for its lively gathering of local merchants. Next, fly to Baltra, to board the luxurious Galapagos Explorer II and begin your 4-night cruise of the Galapagos. Rest assured, you will explore all the highlights of the islands, including Dragon Hill, Santa Cruz Island, Punta Espinoza and North Seymour Island, and do so enjoying the numerous amenities made available aboard the ship. After disembarking from the cruise, fly to Guayaquil for a night of relaxation. The next morning, you'll fly across the border and land in the charming city of Cusco. Enjoy the colonial feel of Cusco before exploring the mystical Sacred Valley and then to one of the most mystical ruins in the world: Machu Picchu. Enjoy the magic of this once in a lifetime experience as your guide takes you through the ruins of this incredible archeological site. After your Machu Picchu visit, you will return to Cusco to enjoy a tour of the city and then on to Lima where you will spend your final night to relax and wind down from your journey. |
