Nearly two weeks gives travelers ample time to see the famous highlights of Peru (Cusco, Machu Picchu, and the Sacred Valley) as well as some of the lesser known but equally compelling areas. From Puno, hop aboard the Andean Explorer Train for a scenic journey to Cusco, where you will spend two nights strolling the cobblestone streets and learning about this charming colonial city. After a full day excursion to the Sacred Valley, take another scenic train ride to Machu Picchu and spend two nights at one of the world’s most fascinating ruins.
