Seeing wild animals up close is a thrill for everyone, and the game reserves of South Africa and Zambia make a spectacular focus for a family vacation.* This trip begins with two full days in beautiful Cape Town, where a full day tour of the city and a day trip to wine region are arranged. Next, head to Singita in the Sabi Sands, a luxurious game reserve that offers family-friendly activities that allow everyone to enjoy the natural wonder of South Africa. From Singita, transfer to Camp Jabulani, which started when the owner took in a homeless elephant; the number of pachyderms has grown over the years, and Camp Jabulani has become famous for its family of friendly resident elephants! After two days here, spend a single night in Johannesburg on the way to Nkwali Camp in Zambia. Among the highlights of your time in the South Luangwa region are a day at Kawaza Village to observe and participate in local village life and, of course, plenty of opportunities to enjoy the unspoiled landscape for which Zambia has become famous.
*Please note that this tour is recommended for children over the age of 8. |
