| Ras Kutani, Selous Game Reserve, Ruaha National Park | |||
| If a combination of beach time and safari activity sounds like paradise, the Southern Circuit in Tanzania just might be the answer to your dreams. Start at Ras Kutani, a luxury lodge that sits on the white sand of the Indian Ocean. Spend a day enjoying the unspoiled beaches and turquoise water of Tanzania, and the unparalleled hospitality of Ras Kutani. Next, fly to Beho Beho in the Selous Game Reserve, the largest in all of Tanzania. Because of its sheer size, Selous is a perfect place to be introduced to safari culture - there is a thriving population of most animals, and it has plenty of the "plains game" that generally ensure predator activity. Fly next to Ruaha National Park, where you will spend three nights. Ruaha is the least accessible park in Tanzania, which means that it has remained largely unspoiled by flocks of visitors. At Ruaha, guests will stay at Mwagusi Safari Camp, a small tented camp nestled along the banks of a river. Two full days of game viewing allow ample time to explore Ruaha in game vehicles and on foot, and there is enough time that you needn't feel guilty about skipping a game drive to simple enjoy the view from your expansive veranda! | |||
