This deluxe privately guided itinerary is packed with adventurous activities, from riding camels and spending a night in a Berber tent to vigorous hiking in the brisk air of the Atlas Mountains, a hot air balloon ride in Marrakech, and private surfing lessons in seaside Essaouira. The trip concludes with three full days in nearby Tunisia, where guests will tour the capital city of Tunis and explore the Roman ruins in Carthage before heading to Kairouan to see the most holy city in Tunisia’s impressive Islamic monuments. The “expected” highlights are not ignored, either – guests will visit Meknes and Volubilis, tour Todra Gorge, stroll the gardens in Marrakech, and shop in the winding souks of Fes. At night, unwind at some of the region’s top properties, including La Maison Bleue, Kasbah Toubkal, and the hip Villa Maroc.
