| This incomparable program offers a journey along two of the most beautiful countries on the continent, with boat trip through the Lake District of the Andes Mountain range. Begin in Santiago, where you will tour the city's impressive monuments, including the Museum of Pre-Columbian Art, El Centro and San Cristobal Hill. Included in the Santiago segment is a full day excursion to Viña del Mar and Valparaiso, and a full day excursion to the wine region. Next, travel to Puerto Varas in the Lake District for a single night. The following morning, journey by road and boat across All Saints Lake to the tiny mountain town of Peulla. The following day, continue your journey across the border into Argentina, ending the journey in Bariloche. This northern region of Patagonia is full of snow-capped mountains and alpine forests, some of Argentina's most breathtaking scenery. Enjoy a boat ride on the Nahuel Huapi Lake and visit the ancient forests of Victoria Island. Next, fly to Iguazú Falls, where you will visit the range of 275 waterfalls that spans the borders of Brazil, Argentina & Paraguay. From Iguazú Falls, fly to Buenos Aires for three nights, where touring highlights include the various historical neighborhoods of the city, a cruise along the Delta, a tango show, and a visit to a charming town in neighboring Uruguay. | |||
